As the Executive Director of the Oshkosh CVB my primary responsibility is to orchestrate all aspects and functions of the Bureau to include budget, administrative, sales and marketing and community leadership.
My job allows me to meet many different people.  I work with people within the community reinforcing the value of tourism.  I also work with people visiting our community spreading the message on all of the things there is to do and see in Oshkosh. For a community our size Oshkosh has a lot to offer as Wisconsin’s Event City!

I am a person that loves to laugh and believes you can do anything with the right attitude. Raised in Oshkosh, I am passionate about my community, my family and my friends and spend most of my time nurturing them.  Get involved, make a difference and have fun doing it.

Everything happens for a reason, and that is how I would explain my journey to the OCVB.  Graduating from UW Oshkosh in 2005, serendipity paired with good timing landed me at the OCVB the semester before I graduated.  Starting out first as an intern and then as sales manager, I quickly realized how much Oshkosh has to offer to visitors.  Now as the Marketing Director, I am not only fortunate to market Oshkosh as a destination but as Wisconsin’s Event City!

Outside of work, I am the president of Propel, the young professional group in Oshkosh and also serve on several committees within the organization.  In my free time I love to run, hang out with family and friends and clean…yes, I said I love to clean!

At an early age, I found out that my strengths were in networking and seeing what made people tick.  Graduating from UW Madison with a major in business retailing and a minor in Sorority, my professional career ranged from a buyer at a department store, to sales manager at the Pioneer Resort and several other hotels, then later as a stay at home mom to three kids.  After many different jobs, I realized that I loved the hospitality industry.  Working at the OCVB, I consider myself lucky because I don’t get to sell just one property or hotel, my horizons have been expanded to sell a whole city—Oshkosh, Wisconsin’s Event City!

With a passion for music of all kinds, I spend much of my free time at music events, including Country USA, Waterfest and Grand Opera House events.  My husband and I also love to attend and volunteer at festivals like Irish Fest and Oktoberfest.  Life is good!

‘On the move’ is how I would describe my life!  Having recently moved back to Oshkosh after 15 years living out of state, I am an Oshkosh native and graduated from UW Oshkosh with a degree in Finance and Economics.  I am excited to be back in my hometown.

I am thrilled to be working for the Oshkosh Convention & Visitors Bureau and enjoy assisting visitors in making their visit to Oshkosh the best it can be.  I am fortunate not only to raise my family here, but, to help other families enjoy what Oshkosh has to offer with all the events, bike trails, lakes and parks here.

In my free time I enjoy spending time going to sporting events and staying active with my husband and two daughters.  When I am not at one of my daughters’ sporting or school events, I also teach group fitness classes at the YMCA and love to run and compete in races from 5K’s to marathons.

Wisconsin’s newest import! I am an Indiana girl, born and raised, who frequently visited Oshkosh throughout my childhood. I grew to know Oshkosh as a second home and constantly begged my parents to live here. Now that I’ve graduated (from Indiana University) and started my career, I couldn’t be happier that my start is here in Oshkosh, Wisconsin’s Event City! Fate dealt me a sweet card when my college internship at the Oshkosh Convention Center led to my position here at the OCVB. I look forward to exploring Oshkosh as a resident instead of a tourist!

In my spare time I enjoy traveling to places I have never been before, spending time with family/friends, seeing movies, and shopping. If there’s a big sale on shoes, chances are you’ll find me there! Volunteering is another strong passion of mine and led me to discover my personal motto: “Be the change you wish to see in the world!”
