I'm coming to EAA, where do I stay?
There is plenty of housing available in Oshkosh and the surrounding areas. Usually the Oshkosh hotels are full but there are other options. Commercial properties up to 80 miles away such as hotels, motels, B&B, resorts are listed on this website. There are Campgrounds listed as well as Dormitories or Group Housing. Another option to explore would be Private Housing. The private homes or rooms for rent are within 10 miles of the convention site. Rooms average between $50 and $100 per night and entire homes average between $200 and $400 plus per night. Contact information for all these options are available by browsing the private housing portion of this website.

How do I get a room at the University of Oshkosh?
To reserve a room at the University of Oshkosh, please call 920.424.3226. They require a 3 night minimum. The best way to reserve a room is either by email - uwoeaa@mio.uwosh.edu.or by fax - 920.424.7422 as the phone is not staffed at all times.

How do I get to the EAA Airventure Grounds from where I am staying?
There are several different shuttles in the city of Oshkosh that will take you directly to the convention site, to shopping centers, to the downtown area and to the university. There is also a taxi service in Oshkosh. Some of the hotels in the area do have shuttles to the grounds as well. The best thing to do is to ask your housing provider what is the best way to get to the convention.

Can I bring my pet?
Pets are not allowed on the convention grounds. You need to contact the individual property owner to see if they are welcome.

When renting out someone's home, do I send a deposit?
This is up to the homeowner.

How much should I expect to pay for lodging?
For private housing, the rooms average between $50 and $100 per night and entire homes average between $200 and $400+ per night. The commercial properties have their rates and you should contact them directly.

Appleton - Outagamie County Regional (22 miles north), Green Bay - Austin Straubel International Airport (60 miles north), Madison - Madison Dane County Regional - (70 miles southwest), Milwaukee - Mitchell International Airport (90 miles south), Chicago - O'Hare International Airport (160 miles south)

Are there shuttle buses available from other areas?
There is a shuttle bus from the Outagamie County Airport and various motels in Appleton via Nationwide Travelers - 920.734.5620. There is a shuttle bus available from Austin Straubel Airport and various motels in Green Bay via Lamers - 920.496.3600.
