You may have noticed the dozens of creatively decorated, life-size nutcrackers that made Oshkosh their home last holiday season. Now, you can take home one of these unique creations – and help the arts scene in Wisconsin’s Event City to boot! The nutcrackers will be on display in Opera House Square in downtown Oshkosh on Friday, September 7, and Saturday, September 8, and they will be put up for bid at a live auction Saturday at the Grand Opera House.
Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Paine Art Center & Gardens, the Grand Opera House and the Arts Fund of the Oshkosh Area Community Foundation, which provides funding for arts organizations throughout the city.
