The Oshkosh Convention Center is equipped with the best in audio technology. One unique component to this is
the state-of-the-art Hearing Loop. A newer initiative, the Oshkosh Convention Center is one of only a few
venues in the state to have this system.
The Hearing Loop transmits the PA sound directly and wirelessly to hearing aids equipped with T-coils, and
thus to the ears of the hearing impaired listener without background noise interference. The Loop system allows
the hearing impaired to hear a clearer signal in hearing aids, letting them fully and comfortably participate
in any event within the Center.
Because the hearing loops are universal, any make, model or style hearing instrument equipped with a
T-coil will work in a loop system, simply select the "T" setting on the hearing aid. The hearing loop at
the Oshkosh Convention Center was made possible through the generous support of the Oshkosh Area
Community Foundation.
Look for the symbol displayed here as it indicates that a loop is on the premises.
