Spring fever got you like … ?
But then it gets you like …
… when the bottom of your pants soak up water from the melting snow puddling in your driveway.
We came up with a few March happenings to escape your winter cave while satisfying your spring fever!
Beer + Charity
Drink for a cause at the 13th annual Hops & Props charity beer tasting event at the EAA AirVenture Museum March 4 from 7-10 p.m. Tickets cost $75 per person for the tasting and $125 for the VIP beer dinner at 4:30 p.m., which also includes beer tasting. Ticket sales and donations support free EAA events, such as Christmas in the Air and EAA Skiplane Fly-In.
All the World’s a Stage
Jam at the Grand Opera House’s Alligator Records Blues Festival featuring Marcia Ball March 3 and Lil’Ed and the Blues Imperials and Corky Siegel’s Harmonica Blues Summit March 4. Experience the musical marriage of Vic Ferrari and Steve March-Tormé March 10 for a unique concert of some early musical influences, such as The Beatles and Crosby, Stills & Nash. If you’re looking for a little tragedy mixed with comedy, Hysterical Productions’ Romeo and Juliet will hit the Grand Opera House stage March 17-19 and 23-25.
If you’re over 21 and enjoy comedy shows like Whose Line Is It Anyway and Saturday Night Live, you’ll love an improv show at The Backlot Comedy House. As an audience member, you can share suggestions that the improv talent will act out on stage. Stop in Friday and Saturday for 9 p.m. shows. Tickets are $10 with your choice of beer, water and soda to drink (no drink minimum).
