Admire and acquire some beautiful annuals and perennials at the Paine Art Center and Gardens annual Festival of Spring on Saturday, May 20, 2023.
Festival of Spring is a free outdoor event featuring the Paine’s annual spring plant sale and more than 100 vendors of original art, fine crafts, plants, and garden supplies. As a great source for a wide selection of perennials, the Paine’s plant sale offers thousands of “tried-and-true” plants as well as new and hard-to-find varieties.
At the event, musicians will provide live music and food and beverages are available for purchase. The festival also includes an art activity for kids. The Paine Mansion and Gardens are open for free during the festival. The grounds are incredible this time of year – the gardens feature more than 10,000 tulips and other blooming spring flowers. The Paine’s gardens were designed to resemble the gardens of an English country estate.
The sale is open to the public from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. - with Paine Members receiving early access to the Spring Plant Sale at 8 a.m. Festival of Spring raises funds to support the ongoing care of the historic Paine property and beautiful gardens.
