Gasoline prices continue to drop and drop. Recently, at least 14 states had stations selling gas for $1.99 or less. Analysts expect the trend to continue.
Oshkosh gas prices recently ranged from $2.49 to $2.56. According to the AAA Fuel Gauge Report, gas prices in Wisconsin recently averaged about $2.50 a gallon, putting Wisconsin’s gas prices just below the national average of $2.52.
A year ago, gas was about 60 cents more expensive, so right now, a driver of a car that gets 20 miles-per-gallon who travels 15,000 miles annually will save $40 every month the prices are at this level.
The trend is not only boosting disposable income and putting millions into the pockets of consumers, it’s obviously making travel to Wisconsin’s Event City just that much easier and affordable. Now is a great time to remind travelers of the fun and value of an Oshkosh getaway.
