Summer is finally here and things are about to liven up!

With events happening all year round, there’s a reason that Oshkosh is considered Wisconsin’s Event City. After easing into spring with events such as the Oshkosh Marathon and Half Marathon, the Cabela’s National Walleye Tour and Watercity Wrestlecon, we are ready to kick the summer off into high gear!

Fresh, Local Goodness

The Oshkosh Farmers Market makes its return to downtown Oshkosh beginning in June. Enjoy more than 140 vendors, live music and activities every Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Expect the downtown market to bring you fresh, in-season fruits and vegetables, eggs, honey, syrups and so much more! Additionally, handcrafted items will be available and foodies can enjoy delicious fresh bread, candy, nuts and other prepared foods made with love by local food artisans.

You + Bubbles

Looking for a fun run? The Bubble Run is as fun as it gets! This bubbly 5k is happening June 9 at the EAA grounds. Don’t let the sound of a 5k intimidate you...whether you’re a veteran racer, leisurely jogger or conversational walker, everyone is welcomed. Wear your white tees and prepare to be covered head to toe in colorful foam!

The Funny Guy

“You might be a redneck if”…you know who Jeff Foxworthy is! Jeff Foxworthy is a Grammy Award nominee, bestselling author and largest-selling comedy-recording artist in history. Plan to have a hilarious night out on June 15 for this one-night-only performance at the Menominee Nation Arena.

Sing the Night Away

Waterfest is kicking off the summer concert series June 21 at the Leach Amphitheater. Enjoy an outstanding line-up of Jazz, Pop, Rock, R&B, Blues and Roots music while you relax on the beautiful lawn along the Fox River. The gates open at 5:45 p.m. with general admission being $10 to $15 before 7 p.m. and $15 to $20 anytime after that. The downtown patios, restaurants and bars bustle before and after the event, so come early and stay late! The park and riverfront welcome boaters and tailgaters who picnic before and during the event. Music plays until about 11 p.m.

Now, it’s time to move on to one of June’s main events….
