Curled up with a blanket, a warm cup of coffee and a view of Lake Winnebago- how does that sound for a Saturday morning? This experience could be yours when you rent The Lakeview House, a TJ Highlands Destination property.

This newly renovated house has 3 bedrooms and 3 baths and sleeps 6! There is also a fun “hidden” room with a reading nook in it! The master bedroom upstairs has access to a balcony that overlooks beautiful Lake Winnebago. Make sure to bring some friends and enjoy the firepit on the shoreline! If you are looking for a fantastic dining option, TJ’s Harbor Restaurant is right around the corner and will surely have something for everyone!

This property is named for its outstanding views of Lake Winnebago. Lakeview is deeply rooted in the history of the Lake Winnebago Area and was previously owned by the Goyke Family. John Goyke was a skilled fisherman with a passion for smoking fish. He used the house and outlying buildings to smoke and sell locally caught fish. (You may catch Chef Mike there from TJ Highlands smoking up some of his masterpieces too!) Valeta, Team SNW owner, was inspired by the phrase “Take a Step Back in Time” for the theme for this historic home’s remodel. She wanted every guest to feel the history of this property within the home. This is the first TJ’s Destination Oshkosh property that Kelsie Lally, owner of Ameena Design, re-designed in collaboration with Jim Erdman, owner of D & J Construction. A couple of our signature design features in this home are the exceptionally large showers and the “hidden” bookcase bedroom door. Our guests will see historic photos of previous owners and their catch along with the nostalgic decor of lake life throughout the home.
