Afternoon Tea 2020

The Afternoon Tea is a mission-focused event that celebrates 50 of our Club girls ages 7 to 10 who have completed six character & etiquette classes over the summer. During the event, the girls and women from the community get to know one another while sipping tea and enjoying a delicious light lunch and dessert. This event is a delightful opportunity to get to know Club members on a more personal level.

Each year there is a dynamic female speaker with an empowering message that inspires and ties together the themes the girls learned in their classes. In the past, the Tea has featured amazing speakers including 2012 Miss America, Laura Kaeppeler, entrepreneur and co-founder of Culver’s restaurant, Lea Culver, local jazz music sensation, Janet Planet, Sarah Schmidt, former director of U.S. Venture, Inc., Shannon Bahrke Happe, American Olympic freestyle skier and entrepreneur, Emily Deem, co-anchor for FOX 11’s morning show Good Day Wisconsin, Judy Hehr, speaker, author, coach and radio host and Becky Curran, an advocate for persons with disabilities.
