Anastasiya Magamedova Piano Recital

ABOUT

A 2016 National YoungArts Winner, twenty-four-year-old pianist, Anastasiya Magamedova, began studying the piano at the age of 5 in Dushanbe, Tajikistan and is a recent graduate of the Juilliard School with Academic Honors, under the tutelage of Julian Martin and Matti Raekalli; she now continues her studies in Paris. Recent engagements have taken her to perform in the Theatre of Digital Arts of Dubai and the Opera and Ballet State Theater of Tajikistan. Magamedova is passionate about performing and has soloed in halls such as Alice Tully Hall (NYC), Carnegie Hall’s Weill Concert Hall (NYC), Pierre Boulez Saal (Berlin) and Libby Gardner Hall (Salt Lake City, UT). She has also performed in Teatro del Pavone (Perugia, Italy) and Sala dei Notari (Perugia, Italy), soloing with the Alicante Philharmonic Orchestra. Winner of several concerto competitions, Magamedova has performed with the Utah Symphony in Abravanel Hall and several times with the American West Symphony.
