Based on the best-selling novel and award-winning film, “Misery” comes to life on stage this spring at The Grand. It follows the story of an author, Paul Sheldon, who finds himself under the care of his number one fan, Annie Wilkes, following a devastating car accident in the Colorado wilderness. The seemingly selfless rescue turns sinister as Annie discovers that Paul has killed off her beloved heroine in the latest chapter of his Misery Chastain book series. Her fantasies now thwarted - both in life and in her favorite literary world - Annie forces Paul to rewrite the ending, or face his own untimely demise.

This fast-paced, psychological thriller unravels in a way only Stephen King and William Goldman could achieve, and will have you on the edge of your seat for the full 90 minutes.
Not suitable for children.
