The Supermarine Spitfire has come to symbolize the valiant efforts of the UK's Royal Air Force during World War II, in particular, the aerial showdown that quickly became known as the Battle of Britain. This film combines breathtaking cinematography with historic footage and intimate interviews with surviving RAF veterans to tell the story of the iconic fighter and its role in history's greatest conflict.

Experience aviation cinema at EAA's Skyscape Theater Royale! This series of film screenings will feature something for everyone. Each film begins at 6:30 p.m. in the museum's Skyscape Theater, an intimate setting with a 50-foot screen and state-of-the-art projection and sound systems. (Seating is on a first come, first serve basis and is subject to capacity.) Free for EAA members and $5 for nonmembers.
