The University of Wisconsin Oshkosh women’s volleyball team will begin its NCAA tournament journey with home court advantage.

The Titans, who dropped their first match of the season Saturday in the WIAC tournament final after 34 straight wins, learned they earned an at-large bid Monday when the NCAA announced the 2023 tournament bracket. UW Oshkosh will host seven teams from six states in a three-day regional Thursday through Saturday in Kolf Sports Center.

UWO faces Greenville University (Illinois), entering the tournament with a record of 23-10, at 7 p.m. Thursday.

The rest of the regional field includes 22-7 Calvin University (Michigan), 25-6 Gustavus Adolphus College (Minnesota), 23-8 Otterbein University (Ohio), 23-4 University of La Verne (California), 25-6 North Park University (Illinois) and 25-3 East Texas Baptist University.

Otterbein will face La Verne in the first match of the regional at 11:30 a.m. Thursday. North Park against East Texas Baptist and Calvin against Gustavus Adolphus will play in the 2 p.m. and 4:30 p.m. slots respectively, followed by UWO-Greenville at 7 p.m.

The winner of UWO-Greenville will play the winner of Calvin-Gustavus Adolphus victor at 7 p.m. Friday.

On Saturday, the second-round winners will play at 5 p.m. for the right to be one of eight teams to advance to the quarterfinal round of the 64-team NCAA Division III Championship on Nov. 29 in Claremont, California.

Tickets for the regional event in Oshkosh will be cash only. The ticket window will open one hour before the first match of each day and remain open until after the final match of the day begins.

Single-day tickets are $10 adults, $8 seniors and veterans, $6 students, $5 children 11 and younger and free for children younger than 2.

Three-day tickets are $20 adults, $12 seniors and vets, $12 students, $8 children 11 and younger and free for children younger than 2.
