Brazilian Eats in Downtown Oshkosh
Mara’s Brazilian Cuisine must be added to your next lunch/dinner stop! Located at 200 G City Center in Downtown Oshkosh, Mara’s is serving up the most delicious authentic Brazilian cuisine! This past January marked the 2 year anniversary of Mara’s opening! Mara is originally from the northeast side of Brazil, her hometown is Fortaleza, in the state of Ceará. She loves the culture and food diversity of that area of my country and wanted to share the authentic cuisine in Oshkosh! Her passion for the Latin cuisine comes easy to her and is her expression of love. New for 2024, Mara is going to start focusing on catering and providing food for larger events! Seriously Good Eats
Coxinhas are a new personal favorite! They are Brazilian chicken croquettes filled with chicken, cream cheese and seasonings- basically heaven! You can order them mini or regular size and they come in chicken, sausage vegetarian or beef!
Next up, and one of Mara’s most popular items, the Chicken Stroganoff! Cubed chicken breast and corn in a rich cream sauce served over white rice and topped with Potato stix. They also have a beef version that is sirloin steak and mushrooms in a cream sauce- both are absolutely fantastic! Looking to feed your family? You can order a family size as well in both the chicken and the beef!
The other popular item (and we can confirm why!) is the Shrimp with Coconut sauce. Shrimp cooked with red bell peppers, garlic and cilantro in a light and creamy coconut sauce. Served over rice, this entree can be ordered as a single serving or a family size. Get the bigger size, you are going to want leftovers!
New Catering Menu
Mara is excited to get started on offering her catering menu and services for Oshkosh! If you have a party or event you want to try some fantastic new cuisine at, I can not recommend Mara and her team enough!
