Oshkosh's Distinguished Gentleman's Ride Sells Out for 7th Year, Ranks Among Top 10 in the U.S.
OSHKOSH, Wis., May 11, 2026 — The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride returns to Oshkosh on Sunday, May 17, marking the seventh year the city has hosted one of the largest stops on the global ride calendar. With 150 riders registered and the event officially sold out, Oshkosh remains one of the top 10 largest rides in the United States.
Now in its 15th year globally, The Distinguished Gentleman's Ride unites classic and vintage-styled motorcycle riders worldwide to raise funds and awareness for prostate cancer research and men's mental health through the Movember organization. Since its founding in Sydney, Australia, in 2012, the ride has grown to 121 countries, attracted more than 500,000 riders, and raised over $60 million for men's health programs. The Oshkosh ride alone has contributed more than $30,000 to that total to date.
"Seeing 150 riders take over Oshkosh for such an important cause is something special, and the fact that our community continues to rank among the top rides in the country says a lot about Oshkosh," said Amy Albright, executive director of Discover Oshkosh.
The ride is organized locally by Kris Larson, owner of Becket's. While rider registration has reached capacity, the public is invited to attend as spectators. Festivities kick off at Becket's at 10 a.m. with a classic and vintage motorcycle showcase. The ride departs at approximately 11:30 a.m. and returns around 12:30 p.m., with a complimentary post-ride brunch for registered riders. Riders are encouraged to dress dapper in vintage and formal attire, a signature of every Distinguished Gentleman's Ride worldwide.
Donations supporting the cause are welcomed from the community and can be made at gentlemansride.com/events/
Those interested in participating in 2027 are encouraged to watch for early registration to open in winter 2027.
