One of the Largest Ice Fishing Tournaments in the Country
OSHKOSH, Wis. (January 15, 2024) – The Battle on Bago ice fishing tournament is held annually in Oshkosh and has become one of the largest ice fishing tournaments in the country. The tournament, which includes fishing on Lake Winnebago, Lake Butte des Morts, Lake Winneconne, & Lake Poygan, features more than $375,000 worth of prizes.
The 18th annual Battle on Bago takes place Friday, February 14 and runs through Saturday, February 15, 2025. The public is welcome to join this weekend of fun at Miller’s Bay in Menominee Park in Oshkosh, located at E. Irving Avenue & Siewert Avenue, Oshkosh, WI 54901.

Friday, February 14, 2025
- Tent Opens — 8 a.m.
- Food is Served — 3 p.m.
- Fish Fry Starts — 5 p.m.
- Live Music with Glam Band — 7 – 11 p.m.
Saturday, February 15, 2025
- Tent Opens — 8 a.m.
- Beer Food Raffles — 8 a.m. – 3:30pm
- Raffles Drawn — 3:30 p.m.
Fishing contestants have the opportunity to purchase multiple tickets with each ticket being good for one fish entry. Prefer to stay warm? Purchase raffle tickets and hang out in the heated tent Friday and Saturday. Bring the kids for some ice fishing fun and enjoy live music, drinks and even a Friday night fish fry.
