The Must-See Rock Show of 2026 Comes to Oshkosh on August 9
[Oshkosh, Wisc. - March 23, 2026] – Oshkosh Festivals LLC, the locally owned company behind the acclaimed XRoads41 music festival, has officially announced XRoads41 Rock Detour, a new rock music event scheduled for Sunday, August 9, 2026, at Oshkosh Festivals Park.
The artist lineup will be announced on Monday, April 13. Tickets will go on sale to the public on Friday, April 17.
XRoads41 Rock Detour will be produced by the same organized, fan-focused team of experienced live event professionals responsible for bringing XRoads41 to the Oshkosh community. The Rock Detour will feature top-tier rock talent and first-class stage production, delivering a high-impact concert experience from the first note to the last.
Corey Bliss, Oshkosh Festivals General Manager, is excited to introduce a new rock music event at the festival site, created in response to strong fan demand. Bliss stated, “The inaugural XRoads41 Rock Detour will launch as a one-day event in 2026, with the goal of growing into a multi-day festival in the years ahead as audience support builds.”
Fan access will be a cornerstone of the Rock Detour experience, just as it is for XRoads41. General admission attendees will have the ability to get right up to the stage, while VIP ticket holders will have seats in an elevated, flip-seat grandstand structure positioned within the concert bowl — offering premium sightlines and an enhanced event experience to all.
Oshkosh Festivals Park is conveniently located directly off Interstate 41, offering easy access for attendees from near or far. .The venue features on-site camping for those seeking the full festival experience, along with ride-share options and proximity to a wide selection of Oshkosh-area hotels for those traveling from out of town.
