Looking for a new favorite coffee shop?
Look no further than New Moon! Located at 401 N Main St Oshkosh, this shop has been around for 20 years! New Moon opened in 2004 and CO-Owners Aaron and Jason have made it a priority to serve local scratch made goodies to Oshkosh! We can confirm, whether you are looking for freshly roasted and brewed coffee, breakfast, lunch, or dinner you are covered! If you are in the mood to settle in with a cup of coffee and read a good book, New Moon is the perfect place for that as well! The walls are covered in local art creating the coziest atmosphere- you have to check it out! Bonus- they have open mic nights, poetry readings and more! Coffee AND Good Eats!
Bold statement alert- pretty sure I found my new favorite breakfast sandwich in town! Something Spicy Bagel- on an Everything bagel with egg, jalapeno garlic cream cheese, tomato, lettuce and add bacon! The cream cheese on this is everything! If you like spicy, you are going to love! (Try it with a side of buffalo too!)
Next was the Clifford Wrap- Chicken, bacon, tomato, lettuce, red onion and mozzarella cheese with a side of bbq. We ordered ours with a side of pasta salad and everything was so fresh! If you want to make it spicy, get the side of buffalo!
Fan of chicken salad? Our barista Josephine recommended the Miles Sandwich! Homemade chicken salad, lettuce, tomato, red onion, dressing on Wheatberry bread. We ordered this with a side of the curry chickpea salad. This is the perfect lunch sandwich and has the option (as do all their sandwiches) to do add ons. You can choose from jalapenos, cucumbers, green peppers, bacon, chicken, etc!
A crowd favorite, and I can see why, is their Burritos! You choose chicken, vegetarian or vegan! It is a tortilla stuffed with seasoned rice, their homemade chili and either just cheese or chicken and cheese! You better be hungry for this one, it is huge!
They have chili and another soup daily and I can already tell I need to go back for their daily soup based on how good the chili was! Fresh baked goods are also available to purchase with your meal- if you see the red velvet cookie, get it!!
