Every third Wednesday of the month, Winkler's Westward Ho (4905 County Hwy-S, Oshkosh) invites the Oshkosh community to lace up their boots for an evening of line dancing. Our team recently attended and came away with a full recommendation: it is a welcoming, high-energy night out that suits nearly anyone. When we walked into Winkler's Westward Ho, we weren't totally sure what to expect. We left with huge smiles and a plan to go back!
Lessons for every skill level
The first hour is all lessons, so you'll learn the steps before the dancing really kicks in. You don't need to be a pro, or even a "dancer." This night is for all levels, whether you've done it a hundred times or have never set foot on a dance floor. Everyone starts somewhere, and nobody is judging your footwork.
An evening of dancing
During the second and third hours, the floor opens for dancing and review, allowing guests to practice what they have learned. The featured dance song changes every time, so no two Wednesdays are the same. Line dancing is a lively way to move, unwind, and connect with others, whether you arrive with friends and family or attend on your own.
Dine and drink at Winkler's
Guests are welcome to enjoy dinner and drinks at Winkler's Westward Ho before or during the event, making it easy to turn the evening into a full night out.
