ABOUT

Menominee Park is located on the shores Lake Winnebago between East Irving and Merritt on the south and extending northward along Menominee Drive. The property is only slightly above lake level and contains a stone-cut bridge and two lagoons. Menominee is Oshkosh’s most popular park and is the cornerstone of all city recreation activities and community events. Some events held here include Battle on Bago, the Polar Plunge, 5Ks, and various fishing tournaments. Miller’s Bay, the Children’s Amusement Center, and the Zoo are all located within Menominee Park. Miller’s Bay provides moorings, on-land boat storage, dingy racks and boat launching facilities. Two large playground areas provide climbing, sliding and exploring activities. The Reetz ballfield complex is heavily used during the summer for league play and for large tournaments. The park has six rentable shelters, about 4 miles of paved trails, basketball court, tennis and pickleball courts, sand volleyball court, soccer field, casting docks, boat tie-ups, and historical interest points. Park size: 103 acres
