The leaves are changing, the air is crisp, and football is on TV...fall has officially arrived! Oshkosh has a lot of exciting events and fun activities to celebrate this season.
Pick a Pumpkin at Sunny Acres Farm & Pumpkins Plus
Spend a day at Sunny Acres Farm and Pumpkins Plus picking the perfect pumpkin! At Sunny Acres Farm - explore all sizes of pumpkins, jump in the bounce house, take a train ride, paint a pumpkin, snap a pic in the GIANT orange chair, ride the rocking horse carousel, and feed the llamas, alpacas, mini horses, goats, sheep, ducks and chickens. There is an activity for everyone on this 7 acre farm. Sunny Acres Farm is open daily starting Saturday, September 5th from 10:00 a.m. to 6 p.m. through Halloween. Not only can you find some cute gifts and crafts available for purchase at their gift store, but you won't want to leave without snagging some pumpkins, produce or mums while you're there!
Pumpkins Plus is open daily 11am-5pm starting Saturday, September 5th offering pumpkins, gourds, mums, corn stalks, straw bales, and more! Located at 4880 West 9th Street Oshkosh!
The Bloomtique
Bloomtique Flower Farm is still open for U-Pick, with discounted prices of $10 for a full jar of U-Pick flowers, or $7 if you bring back your jar with their sticker on it. Beyond the blooms, there's plenty more to explore:
- Pumpkins and gourds
- Mums in 9", 12" and 14" sizes, available in a variety of colors — $12, $25 and $35
- A candle-making bar, where you can choose your own scent and make a candle to take home
- A dried flower bar, where guests can create their own dried flower bouquet from their selection
Whether you're stopping by for a jar of fresh-picked flowers or building your own bouquet to take home, Bloomtique is a can't-miss stop this fall.
Trick-or-Treat!
Bring the family to Zooloween Boo at Menominee Park and Zoo on October 17, 2026. Come in costume and enjoy trick-or-treat stations, bounce houses, Halloween concessions, games, crafts prizes, mascots and more! Make sure you show up in your best costume to win the costume contest!

Grab your friends and join the 3rd Annual Boos + Brews- Cider & Seltzer Stroll! This Halloween-themed event invites you to stroll through Downtown Oshkosh while enjoying a selection of alcoholic cider and seltzer samples at participating businesses (must be 21+).

Catch a Game
School is in session which means so are sports! The UW-Oshkosh Homecoming Football game takes place on October 24th with kickoff at 1pm. However, it’s not only football season, but also tennis, cross country, golf, swimming, soccer, and volleyball. Caramel Crisp Cafe has a variety of pumpkin-spiced everything including cookies, cheesecakes, bread pudding and even pumpkin butter!
