It’s hard to believe that year two of the XRoads41 music festival is already in the books. This year was an extraordinary mix of a few different genres filling a three day main stage lineup.

Michelle and Mark enjoy XRoads41 in oshkosh, Wi

Both of us have always been fans of live music and since individually we have fairly diverse tastes in music, it makes for some fun adventures. For us, concerts are a way to share some of our favorite genres and bands with each other and make some great new memories together.

We are always keeping an eye out for who is coming to the area for shows, so when we saw that the XRoads41 lineup featured current powerhouse artists like Kane Brown, Parker McCollum, Jessie Murph as well as some throwback hip hop from Flo-Rida and Nelly, we had to get there.

The venue is great for a music festival. There’s plenty of room to spread out between sets, there were a variety of food vendors so if you were there all three days, you have a good amount of variety (check out the app as it gets closer to next year to see what’s going to be there) - although we were partial to the hand cut, pulled pork fries.

Yummy food and experiences with XRoads41 Music Festival in Oshkosh, Wisconsin

We decided we wanted to be as close to the stage as possible for the shows, so for most of the acts, we were in the “pit” - the standing room only area up by the stage. If you wanted to bring your own chair (or rent one), or roam around during sets you were not going to miss a song. The giant screens on the stage ensure that.

We were ready to call it a night after the headliner was finished, but if you still have a little gas left in the tank, they had an after party at the Festival Foods Second Stage where DJ Grant Fisher kept the party going.

We are already looking forward to next year! They’ve already announced a few of the headliners and while there are still a lot of time slots to fill in, they are off to a fantastic start with Lainey Wilson and Jason Aldean! Whether you go for just one night or all three, it’s hard to beat being outside at a Music Festival in Oshkosh during the summer listening to live music.

PS: Huge shout out to the XRoads41 festival organizers and staff. When the weather threw a little bit of a curve ball, they did an amazing job making sure that first and foremost all the fans who showed up were safe. Once the weather was clear, they made excellent use of their app to let people know when the grounds were going to reopen, and get updates on the adjustments they made to the schedule so that everyone was able to get the best experience possible!
